Job Summary

The Market Planning Specialist has experience in media planning, buying and campaign implementation, preferably in Out-of-Home advertising. Will be responsible for having a deep knowledge of markets in their relevant region, including city life, audience make up & mobility, important POI’s, relevant local laws/ regulations that might impact OOH strategy and knowledge of all OOH/DOOH media vendors, formats and location coverage. The Market Planning Specialist will work with the Strategic Development Manager to apply the defined strategy for the markets in their region, work directly with media vendors to source available OOH assets, and secure and negotiate rates with the goal to deliver best results and maximize profit.

General Responsibilities:

• Responsible for being the “market expert” by having a deep knowledge of their relevant markets in their respective region, including city life, audience profiles & make up, consumer mobility patterns, important points-of-interest, and relevant local laws/ regulations that might impact the campaign strategy.
• Build and maintain a strong relationship with all OOH/DOOH media vendors in their markets and understands inventory strengths & weaknesses and vendor specific location coverage.
• Capable of negotiating with vendors to provide pricing benefits, added value and advantageous service level agreements.
• Have the ability to innovate, multi task, and work closely with other team mates in different regions in the US and abroad.
• Understand the complexities of the planning, execution and control of every campaign in their region.
• Actively search for new opportunities with vendors in order to obtain promotional media advertising solutions to present to clients.
• Meet KPIs (Bonuses, Opportunity Packages, Recycling, etc.)
• Conduct market surveys to understand advertisement by category and inform the sales and research team.
• Report to the Managing Director & indirectly to the manager in the service center.


• 3-5 years of related media planning experience in the advertising industry. (OOH preferred)
• Complete understanding of the advertising ecosystem in the United States.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to work with team members & stake holders in different parts of the world.
• Analytical thinking with strong planning, and negotiation skills.
• The ability to work independently, identify and solve challenges.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
• The ability to work quickly and effectively manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
