Worldcom OOH is looking to grow its Business Development team with a Inernational Media Planner
We are looking for candidates in Madrid
We are an established and fast-growing GLOBAL Out Of Home (OOH) Media Company. We plan, purchase, coordinate, and control Local, Regional, National, and Global OOH campaigns for our clients. Our large worldwide partner network allows us to deliver holistic OOH media plans and economies of scale to every direct client and advertising agency we work with. Our one-stop-shop solution sets us apart in the marketplace.
DUTIES
• To be an integral member of WORLDCOM Europe, working closely with the commercial team and reporting into the Head of Operation.
• To develop media owners’s portfolio of OOH/DOOH products across various countries.
• To research, identify new vendors and products across all regions.
• To maintain an excellent relationship with existing suppliers and establishing new relationships with new ones.
• To interact with local media owners to service existing (& new) clients’ needs by finding out OOH availability as well as negotiating pricing with the clients’ chosen countries.
• Take active part in the definition of the strategy of each media plan taking into account the objectives defined in the clients’ brief and the particularities of each market.
• To work on the planning, negotiation and purchase of each plan, obtaining the most advantageous conditions for each brief.
• To prepare clients’ presentations with the help of and under the guidance of the sales team.
• Meet with the different vendors/suppliers face to face or over the phone.
• Controlling the correct implementation of each campaign in a timely manner and ensuring the reception of proof of posting and quality photos.
• Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
• Attending internal meetings and training courses
• To keep update of any technological innovations in the field of DOOH advertising as well as new media and opportunities.
• Supporting the company's cross-functional departments in administrative matters related to suppliers.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, negotiating and buying OOH/DOOH international campaigns on a worldwide basis.
Compiling, elaborating and presenting power point ad hoc media presentations to the sales team.
In addition, he/she will consolidate the different OOH media owner’s portfolio in the different regions of scope.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- The suitable candidate may come from a variety of different backgrounds such as media planning, negotiation and purchasing departments preferably in OOH/DOOH, but he/she will be used to dealing with many tasks and will be a confident communicator.
- To have experience in negotiating with media owners.
- Mandatory: fluent in English and Spanish. Other languages (Italian, French and/or German) are a plus.
- Passionate for media advertising in general, trends and latest OOH developments
- Ability to negotiate
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- Exceptional numerical, written, verbal and presentation skills
- Ability to analyse complex data and input into a variety of systems
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
TOOLS & EQUIPMENT USED
- Must be PC literate: Efficient in use of MS Office packages, particularly PowerPoint & Excel
